Asparagus has just come into season and is great with steak just grill on the BBQ add a squeeze of lemon and some almonds.
Roast Chicken.remember when roasting chicken its 20minutes per pund ie 40 minutes per kilo at 200C. chop up rosemary and parsley or just rub the gremolatta on the bird and stick half a lemon up its cavity. season before you put in the oven.
Remember to rest the bird under foil for a good 20 minutes so the heat goes thru the bird and the meat relaxes.
ChorizoMy favourite thing to do with chorizo is just BBQ it. This weekend we did make sandwiches with it just add coleslaw and gremolatta for a great BBQ Sarni.
Gemolatta is added right when you are ready to serve your meat. Put on top of the ragu to add a flavour boost.
