Australia’s premier provincial racing club will celebrate thoroughbred racing, stunning fashion, entertainment and hospitality when it hosts the prestigious Hunter Jaguar Land Rover Spring Racing Carnival on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 September 2016.
The premier two-day racing event commences on Friday 16 September with CUP Day and three Group 3 feature races, the Australian Bloodstock Cameron Handicap, the Yarraman Park Tibbie Stakes and the historic XXXX Gold Newcastle Cup with the day offering a staggering $650,000 in prize money and attracting some of the best horses in the country. Saturday 17 September is Ladies Day and will feature prize money of $176,000 across eight races including the Broadmeadow Mile, the Hurricane Stakes and the Provincial Cup to name a few. |
