I don't know about you, but I'm counting down the days until spring. We're slowly starting to turn the corner, and mother nature is confirming that there are warmer days ahead.

A wet winter re-affirms why I love coir-fibre so much. Whilst my garden is starting to burst with colour, and the leaves on the trees are re-appearring, so are the weeds! When coir-fibre is used as a mulch, it allows the air, water and nutrients to pass through to the plant and keeps the weeds under control.

Meet The Team
As gardeners, we're all accustomed to starting something out of nothing. There's normally a 'WHY', or a reason attached to the motivation for starting something in the first place. I've been spending some time reflecting my 'WHY' behind GuardnGrow, and it has prompted me to write a blog sharing our origin story.

I'd love to hear from you. Click below to send me a message, and let me know your gardening 'WHY'.

Tree Guards biodegrade gradually and will not litter the landscape as it breaks down. It poses no detrimental problems to the environment and will decompose into the surrounding soil. Coir is a plant-based product, and when it does break down, it adds organic matter to the soil.

Coir Fibre comes from sustainably managed plantations, absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and reducing its carbon footprint.

Use the Guard with a small Weed/Mulch Mat for further protection against weeds; these mats also make it easier to water without damaging the soil.

Tree Guards use 4 x bamboo stakes per tree (purchased separately).
As we head into the warmer months, the calendar is filling up, fast.

We'll be at the Elmore Field Days on the 4th, 5th and 6th of October 2022, and we can't wait. Make sure you call in at site 268 to check out our display and say hi!

We are excited to announce that we are now able to offer AfterPay, so that you can get your gardens looking fabulous sooner.

Until next time, happy growing.

Karen
